Charming ideas, inspiration and projects from this gifted artist.
Carolyn Dahl: Transforming Fabric
I have been using this book a lot lately and like it's in depth treatment of so many painting and dyeing and coloring techqiues. Highly recommended.
Ruth Issett: Color on Paper and Fabric
Color on Paper and Fabric. Ruth Issett.
This is a very useful book for those wanting to find clear instructions for surface embellishments like : oil paint sticks, metallic powders, glass plate printing, acrylics and so much more.

Yoshiko Jinzenji: Quilt Artistry: Inspired Designs from the East
I was lucky enough to meet Yoshiko and view her inspiring quilts up close. Like everything Yoshiko does, this book is superb! It’s a fascinating read about Yoshiko’s entire process - from thread, dye, woven cloth and quilt. This book inspired one of my quilts “Settlement: Sheltering Land”. (*****)
