Soul soothing stitches
There are few things more nurturing and soul soothing than stitching with dear freinds. This past week I met with five dear fabric freinds to stitch and talk and eat and stitch some more. Bliss. Janet, Judy and Margi and I met at Penny's lovely studio in Granville Ferry Nova Scotia, ducking in between snow storms to spend time together.
I worked on a couple of small free form collages just simply laying down fabric and stitching. Ah, hand stitching is so soothing. I'm going to do much more of it.
We tried out a bit of snow dyeing, which was fun, but the results were rather uninspiring.
I"ve come home with a list of inspring books that must be acquired, poems, quotes and feeling so supported.
